This oak footstool was acquired together with a set of Niels O. Møller Model 84 dining chairs and shares the same leg profile, frame construction, and overall proportions. The consistency in joinery and detailing strongly suggests it belongs to the same design family.
Although unmarked, the stool is considered to be a Model 84A footstool, a rarely encountered companion piece to the Model 84 chairs.
The stool has been fully restored and finished with a traditional soap treatment, highlighting the natural character of the oak. The seat has been newly hand-woven with papercord, using authentic materials and techniques in line with Danish cabinetmaking traditions.
A functional and well-balanced piece, ideal alongside Møller seating or as a standalone accent in a considered interior.
