lounge chairs from the AX series, designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen in the early 1950s for Fritz Hansen. The design is known for its innovative use of laminated and moulded wood, allowing the curved frame to form both structure and silhouette in one continuous movement.

Light in appearance yet structurally strong, the AX chairs are a defining example of early Danish experiments with industrial wood techniques.

This pair has been fully refurbished and newly upholstered in soft imitation lambskin, adding warmth and texture to the clean lines of the design. The frames show minor patina and small signs of use consistent with age.
