Hans J. Wegner for A.P. Stolen — ‘Airport’ Lounge Chair, Denmark, 1958

Designed in 1958 by the renowned Hans J. Wegner, the ‘Airport’ lounge chair is a masterful balance of form and function. Though not originally intended for airports, the design takes its name from Copenhagen’s Kastrup Airport, where it was prominently featured. The combination of sleek steel framing and supple leather upholstery gives the chair a refined simplicity and enduring strength. More than just seating, it is a timeless icon of modern Danish design.

This pair has been fully restored. The steel frames have been carefully polished to restore their original shine, Two bushings were remade to identical measurements of the originals, ensuring both authenticity and durability.
