Sofus Jørgensen – Teak Highboard, Denmark 1960s

1.500

This 1960s teak highboard by Sofus Jørgensen is a fine example of Danish modern craftsmanship. Crafted from rich, warm teak with striking grain patterns, it combines elegant proportions with meticulous detailing.

The cabinet features four sliding doors that open to reveal spacious shelves and trays, complemented by a row of four seamlessly integrated drawers below. The sculpted base with long, tapered legs and precise joinery lends the piece both strength and an elevated, airy presence.

A versatile design, ideal as a living room storage unit, dining room cabinet, or statement piece in any modern interior.

Condition: Very good, restored. The topsheet of the cabinet is flawless with no marks. Two wooden handles on the 2nd and 4th drawer have been repaired; the repair is slightly visible upon close inspection.

Dimensions: W 210 cm × D 43 cm × H 116 cm
